Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp
Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp
Join the KLF Team and KLF Approved Trainers for four days of entertainment, education, and all things Kaimanawa. The Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp will be held from 16th to the 19th January, 2025 at the National Equestrian Centre in Taupo.
All lessons are divided into small groups, subject to each rider’s level and preferred discipline, ensuring that everyone is able to feel confident and progress in a safe, friendly, yet challenging environment. From riders learning to canter, to those competing at top level, our instructors can offer insightful and relevant tuition.
The Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp is the perfect opportunity to try new things and it is a pleasure to watch the confidence of both horses and riders develop. In between lessons, you won’t be bored. The days are full of learning opportunities with a combination of clinics, demonstrations and team building games.
In the evenings we indulge in good food, educational talks, and world class equine entertainment. Those attending the Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp get a FREE entry to the Kaimanawa Legacy Freestyle Night Show, valued at $20 person.
The KLF Team and KLF Approved Trainers aren’t just your hosts and instructors during the Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp – they will be in the middle of the fun, making life long memories alongside everyone else!
AGES
This camp is targeted for handlers/riders of ALL ages and levels, with any breed of horse welcome. You don’t have to have a Kaimanawa to attend!
Every child under the age of 18-years is required to have a adult supervisor camping on site with them (as you would at a show). One supervisor is complimentary, but additional friends or family members will incur a $75 surcharge (including a ticket to the Night Show).
ACCOMODATION
You’ll be camping at the National Equestrian Centre in your trucks, floats or in tents, like at a horse show. The venue does have bathrooms, showers, toilets and a communal kitchen. Portacoms, with bunks/bottom sheets/power are available – rooms sleep 2 – 4 people, $50 per person, per night.
MEALS
The only meals included in your stay are the shared dinners on the Thursday and Friday nights. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements
