Kaimanawa Legacy Championships

18th - 19th January 2025

National Equestrian Centre, Taupo

ALL BREEDS WELCOME

Welcome

We’re proud to host our inaugural Kaimanawa Legacy National Championships, in conjunction with the Kaimanawa Legacy Kamp, at the National Equestrian Centre in Taupo, from the 16th – 19th of January  2025.

This event has been designed to showcase to the public how special our heritage horses are, as well as fundraising towards rehoming efforts for the 2025 Kaimanawa Horse Muster. Fifty percent of the profits from this event will go towards KLF Initial Handling Subsidies and KLF Stallion Subsidies, to help save excess horses and place them with KLF Approved Trainers so they can have the best start possible in domestication.

Hosting an event like this doesn’t happen by chance, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved, including the competitors and spectators and of course, our wonderful sponsors.

NOTE: This show is open to horses of all breeds, with non-Kaimanawa horses competing in separate All Breeds classes.
